Are you a job seeker living in Epping Forest or Broxbourne? Would you like to work as a Healthcare Support Worker at The Princess Alexandra Hospital, in Harlow? We are looking for enthusiastic jobseekers, to train to become Healthcare Support Workers.

This fully accredited course will equip you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, care homes, domiciliary care, and community support. This programme provides the foundation for a meaningful and impactful career in healthcare. You'll develop your professional skills and knowledge of the healthcare sector, supported by leading hiring employers. You'll benefit from real-world advice and guidance from employers, and gain a unique insight into their organisation, services and open vacancies!

This four week training programme links to guarenteed interviews at The Princess Alexandra Hospital, and could also lead on to roles such Care Assistants, Mental Health Support Workers, Health Care Support and more! This course is free of all charge to learners enrolled on the prorgamme.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.

We employ more than 4,000 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Working under the direction of qualified nurses/midwives, Healthcare Support Workers carry out a range of housekeeping duties, and basic medical checks, such as taking a patient’s temperature, pulse and respiration rate. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers career development and progression!
